The Dr. Nelson L. Cooper Scholarship is awarded to students at
East Carolina University majoring in Recreation Sciences within
the College of Health and Human Performance. First awarded in 2018,
these scholarships are granted to students exemplifying the qualities that Dr. Nelson Cooper strived to instill in his own students.
